daylight - a political “dark” comedy

Opening april 30th, 2019

Written and produced by Jonathan Young

Directed by Joseph Kevin Coles

New to the political landscape, a young Democrat named Ann Delft is looking to bring some light into the world. Rep. James Black (R-S.D.) is trying to do the same -- he just has to kill off Daylight Saving Time first. When that bill spirals out of control, what was once a fight for the spotlight turns into a war against darkness.

Set in a Republican office in the wake of the 2016 election, "Daylight" explores hope, communication, privilege, power, and the importance of doing your damn research.
